The vision is to foster and support First Nations and offer what we believe to be the best practice to preserve language and culture through the latest multimedia elements (video, audio recordings, web development, and animation).
Our Team
Valerie St-Arnaud
Owner & founder
Valerie has her degree in Communication and Marketing from the University of Ottawa specializing in media studies. She worked closely with Líl'wat Nation as a consultant for the past 5 years completing many projects for the cultural and language revitalization programs.
She played a significant mentorship role on the past digital project with Líl̓wat Nation, which has brought 60 digital video lessons to an online platform that allows community members to use these tools for personal or professional use in schools. she continues to build capacity on various technological skills within the Nation. She assisted in recording and adding approximately 5000 new words and phrases to the online First Voices archive and are working on adding and recording another 5000 in the next year in collaboration with the Nation. In the Project Manager’s role for the Indigitization Project (completed in 2019), Valerie assisted the LCC in training and digitizing 300 audio cassettes with important cultural information.
Valerie has created an authentic relationship with the Líl'wat Nation's team and the community, she hopes to continue offering her services and believes this new approach will benefit the whole community.


David Leveille
Recorder & mentor
David is a Certified Advanced Drone Pilot with many years of experience using drones in his career as a surveyor David acquired many operating skills. David will be at the technical forefront of the mobile recording studio. In his role as a supervisor. David acquired multiple human resources skills and is a team leader. He will help lead and conduct the training in the mentorship programs using his interpersonal skills and charisma in fulfilling his role as a mentor.

Zoë Lomoro
Web developer & design
A seasoned graphic designer and owner of Lom design, Zoë is a professional freelance designer and photographer based in Whistler, BC servicing the sea to sky corridor and beyond. She is passionate about helping others and loves to apply her skills to projects that make a difference. Her goals are to make these skills accessible and help businesses and communities to look their best.
